Educator
Ben Kiel is a typeface designer, graphic designer, and educator. He runs Typefounding, a typeface design and production studio in Saint Louis, Missouri. Before starting Typefounding, he worked at House Industries where he worked as a typeface designer, director, and developer. At House, he worked as part of the team that developed the online Photo-Lettering service, shortlisted as a Design of the Year by the London Design Museum in 2012.

A custom typeface for on-demand printing and apparel company, Custom Ink. The typeface complements the new wordmark, also drawn for the company. Both projects were done for House Industries, under the art direction of Andy Cruz.
